August 2024

Four years ago, Loretta Cabuyadao gave a presentation on creating a Vision Board. Part of the project was to set goals that were SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time Bound.) I brought it home and promptly hung it up close to the ceiling. Mind you, I could see it, but not read it. Recently my daughter organized my office and brought the board down to where it’s at eye level, right next to my sewing machine. Every time I sew, the words are right there! Here are some of the positive messages I am reading at least multiple times a day:

Motivation is what gets you started: Habit is what keeps you going.

If the Plan doesn’t work – change the plan- but never the Goal.

Success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.

Success is a journey not a destination.

Finish! Focus!

May you Dream a Little Higher and achieve your goals!

Warm regards,

Jan
