I would like to start with my heartfelt condolences and prayers to our United States Military, our United States Citizens and the Afghanistan Civilians that have lost their lives or have been injured in the devastating bombing that occurred last week in Afghanistan. I can not imagine what their families are dealing with at this time. Our prayers and support are much needed for all of them.
For those that missed last month's meeting, Steve from RevLocal gave us some very useful tips to generate more business with our Google business listing. I know I learned quite a bit of information and have already put it into place.
This month is our last formal meeting of the year besides our Birthday Bash in October and our Installation in November. Speaking of our Installation, do you have a desire to join our WINS Board? We have a few open positions on the Board and we would love to have you join us to make 2022 an incredible year. If you are interested please reach out to myself or Jan Sandstrom.
You definitely don't want to miss this meeting as we will have a member from our City Council speak to us about what has been and will be happening in our beautiful city of Simi Valley.

Lastly, as I mentioned last month, we do need to have all final RSVP’s in no later than the Monday before our monthly meeting so that Wood Ranch Country Club can have the correct count of food for us. Unfortunately, we are unable to take any RSVP’s later than Monday September 20th. I really appreciate your cooperation and understanding with regards to this matter.
Also, remember that each time you bring a guest to a meeting you will receive a puzzle piece. The member that collects the most pieces this year will be awarded a free membership for 2022! Inviting guests is the best way to share all of the wonderful benefits of becoming an active member of WINS.
